Raj Can Do Anything

In Raj Can Do Anything, young readers are taken on a fun and relatable adventure with Raj and his big brother Amir. Through Raj's experience with autism, the book offers a great opportunity to talk about emotions and how to cope with them. It also provides an introduction to sign language and counting, which can be very helpful for kids who are struggling to express themselves. Most importantly, children will understand how these feelings can be overcome with a little help from loved ones and visual cues for transitions. With bright illustrations and a simple yet powerful message, Raj Can Do Anything is sure to become a favorite among parents and children alike.

Meet Jyrah Knight

Our Author

Jyrah Knight is a Dallas, TX native who received her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and her Master's Degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. Upon graduation, she became an advocate for children and families affected by chronic illnesses and disabilities by establishing her nonprofit organization Chronic Endurance. She also works as a Professional Development Director providing training to child care professionals working with children in the 0-3 age range. Jyrah knew at an early age, that her passion was to help those in need, especially underserved communities. Her goal is to always educate, empower, and advocate for those who live with chronic illnesses and disabilities, through her writing and outreach. Jyrah loves to catch sporting events and travel the world in her spare time.

Meet Ida Brown

Our Illustrator

Ida Brown is a confident and creative designer who is self-motivated, self-sufficient, and comes with a strong background in print and digital media. Ida’s passion for art began at the tender age of 10 and she has since fostered her love for out-of-the-box artistic expression. Ida graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in 2014. Since that time, she has worked as an Art Director for a marketing company in Dallas, TX. She has always had a love for comic book illustrations and a desire to one day create her own. Ida has a passion to inspire the next generation with her artistic talents and be a representation for all young aspiring artists. Ida loves to spend time with her family in her spare time, meditate, and snuggle with her sweet dog Kobe.
